Country: Antigua & Barbuda

Fun question: What is one thing you can’t live without? Saying my mantra “life nice. Thank you, more please!”

Zoë Teague is small in stature and believes in taking up space unapologetically. She is a Queeribbean (Queer + Caribbean) woman, she is a Program Associate focusing on administrative and grants management support with a sharp focus on Nebula’s Narrative & Accompaniment work. Additionally, Zoë is a multi-faceted being wearing multiple crowns, she is a lawyer, activist and creative artist and content creator. Her work manifests itself in written and audiovisual projects.

One piece of writing, she is proud of is her research paperr entitled “The Circling Hand: An Exploration of the Lives of Lesbian, Bi-Sexual & Queer Women in Antigua & Barbuda”. Zoë also sits on the FRIDA Global Advisory Committee for the Caribbean.

Zoë’s activism is quite dynamic as she advocates at the local, regional and international level for systemic change for the rights of all people, she has a knack for bringing ideas together and imbuing them with an analytical yet creative approach. Prior to joining Nebula Fund, she was a practicing attorney at the Legal Aid & Advice Centre in Antigua, helping to provide quality legal services to members of the local community who have been systematically disadvantaged.
